The Seahawks’ Offensive Woes

The Seahawks have only scored one offensive touchdown this preseason so far. Recently-signed QB Tavaris Jackson has been subpar. HC Pete Carroll should not be impressed.

Backup QB Charlie Whitehurst has been “outplaying” T-Jax, but should not be much of an upgrade.

RB Marshawn Lynch, famous for his playoff run vs. the Saints, has been mediocre.

The ‘Hawks have been primarily focusing on their offense this offseason. They drafted a couple of O-Linemen and signed TE Zach Miller and WR Sidney Rice, but the improvement from last year has been minimal.

Like many sports franchises, the Seahawks will need time to gel. But right now, they need to step up their game to be a legitimate contender.
